Short Bio
In December 2013, I successfully completed my Ph.D. in mathematics with distinction at the University of Kassel, while concurrently serving as a research assistant at the Institute of Mathematics. My doctoral thesis delved into pioneering algorithmic advancements across mathematics, computer science, and applied sciences, notably focusing on the analysis of bio-chemical models. Prior to this, I obtained my Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Bonn in early 2008, specializing in ontology-based middleware development and adaptive localization systems.
Following the completion of my studies, I transitioned into a role as a software developer before joining a joint research project funded by the German Research Foundation. Subsequently, I dedicated two years to postdoctoral research. From 2016 to 2022, I served as a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science in Bonn, where I continued my exploration of interdisciplinary research avenues, with particular focus on motion analysis, artificial intelligence, and biochemical network analysis. Since early 2023, I have assumed the role of project leader for the development of intelligent systems.
With broad experience in interdisciplinary research, I focus on motion analysis, physics-based animation, software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, symbolic methods, computer algebra, dynamic systems, and biochemical network analysis.
